So What Was the Best Coaching Signing?
Since there wasn't any big news today in college basketball, I decided to make a post on which team signed the best coach. So far there have been sixteen notable coaching signings and my best signing is Tom Crean at Indiana. Crean is taking over for one of the most prestigious college basketball programs in the country and he shouldn't have any problems. After ten seasons at Marquette, Crean proved he could recruit and win games with typically less talented teams. Crean's Marquette teams averaged 20 wins a season and his most successfully year was the Final Four in 2003 with Dwayne Wade. I see Crean coming in right away and improving the already successful Hoosiers program. It will probably only take Crean a couple of seasons until Indiana is winning big ten titles, being a consistent top 20 team and making it to elite eights and Final Fours. The crazy Hoosiers fans in Bloomington should be extremely excited for the upcoming seasons with Tom Crean and hopefully, he will bring back the Bobby Knight days.

Indiana is basketball country so I certainly hope Tom Crean can bring the Hoosers back to the time when the fans in Bloomington were familiar with wining teams! I'd like to see the Bobby Knight days return only with better behavior from the coach. I think Crean did a great job with Marquette. Go Crean and Crimson!
