This is definitely the right decision for Rivers. To tell you the truth I don't think he would have gotten drafted if he entered the draft, and now he'll get another year to improve. I love to hear when a player wants to return to college to accomplish academic goals. It shows that Rivers understands what college is all about. Also, with him coming back, Clemson should have a decent team and will a bubble team, rather than a definite out, to return to the NCAA Tournament.

Clemson's K.C. Rivers Will Return to School
Clemson's leading scorer, K.C. Rivers has decided to stay in school and play another season for the Tigers. During his junior year Rivers averaged 14.7 PPG and 6.3 RPG. Clemson went 24-10, lost in the ACC tournament championship game and went to their first NCAA Tournament in ten years. Rivers said he wanted to return for his senior year to achieve both academic and basketball goals.
