If I were Koufos, I would definitely return to play another season at Ohio State because of the possible success that the Buckeyes could have next year. Koufos had a good year and if there were to pair him with B.J. Mullens, considered by many to be the top incoming center for the 2008-09 season, your looking at arguably the best front court in the nation. However, Koufos may be going to the NBA because he wants to avoid competition with Mullens. Ohio State is also adding a top five shooting guard, William Buford, which if the pieces are set could lead to tremendous success next year. Ohio State shouldn't be too upset if Koufos goes pro because of the superior talent they are bringing in over the next three years.

Ohio State's Kosta Koufas Will Declare For the NBA
Ohio State Buckeye freshman center Kosta Koufos will head to the NBA, but will wait to sign with an agent. The nineteen-year-old was second on the team with 14.4 PPG and first with 6.7 RPG. Most impressively, Koufos had 22 points and 9 rebounds in the NIT Championship victory over UMass. ESPN currently has Koudos ranked 13 on their draft board.
