Freshman small forward, Chace Stanback, has made the decision to transfer away from UCLA and will play for another school next season. Stanback played in 25 games averaging 1.8 PPG and 0.7 RPG, in only 5.6 minutes for the Bruins. Stanback has stated that he wants to look at other programs that are better suited for him; a program where he can play more minutes. As of now, Stanback is the fifth UCLA underclassman who will not be playing for the Bruins next year. The other four are starters who have declared for the NBA Draft.This is a good choice by Stanback, so he can get the opportunity to have a successful college basketball career. At UCLA, a program that brings in the best of the best every year, it would be tough for Stanback to get a lot of minutes. However, if Stanbeck transfers to Oregon, his second college choice after UCLA, he could be a key player for their program and make an impact.
