Kevin Love To Decide On NBA Tomorrow

UCLA's All-American center Kevin Love will announce whether he is headed to the NBA at a campus press conference on Thursday.  The freshman led the Bruins to a third consecutive Final Four but the Bruins couldn't overcome the Memphis Tigers.  Love led UCLA in scoring with 17.5 PPG and in rebounds with 10.6 per game.  Stan, Love's father and UCLA head coach Ben Howland will join Love at the press conference tomorrow.

If I had my wished I would want Love to stay for another season at UCLA, and I truly think he should stay.  Love was the most entertaining center this season and as a college hoops fan, you would definitely want to see him back on the court for the Bruins.  As for Love, he reminds me a lot of Glen Davis from LSU last year, a huge body down low with athleticism, but is on the shorter side for a NBA center.  At 6-10 he would be slightly undersized and would have to have tremendous talent.  Love does have tremendous talent and terrific basketball smarts, but I don't think we have seen the absolute best out of him yet.  Returning to UCLA, one of the best programs in the country, will allow Love to continue to progress, more specifically work on his low post moves and avoid being rushed to the NBA.
